Phoenix — Today, the Primary Sinema Project released a new video hitting Kyrsten Sinema for consistently failing Arizonans, outlining “Five Reasons Arizonans Should Fire” Senator Kyrsten Sinema. The video will be distributed across channels and featured in Facebook ads. The video calls Sinema out for voting down a $15 minimum wage, routinely ignoring her constituents and sometimes even the White House, flip-flopping on key policies like prescription drug pricing reform, obstructing the Biden agenda, and choosing to defend the filibuster over voting rights legislation. The new video is available to view here. “Time and again, Kyrsten Sinema lets down the Arizonans that sent her to Washington. From trying to torpedo prescription drug pricing reform at the behest of her Pharma donors to making clear that she believes the filibuster is more sacred than the right to vote, Sinema has failed us. Arizonans are fed up — and the outpouring of support for potential primary challengers and groups like ours speaks to that,” Primary Sinema Project said in a statement. The ad comes as the Senate continues to negotiate President Biden’s Build Back Better Act — and Sinema attempts to obstruct his agenda at every turn. Just last week, during a sit-down interview with CNN, Sinema refused to commit to voting for Biden’s legislation. When pressed, her response was “Folks know I don’t negotiate in the press,” just moments before claiming to be “upfront” when she talks about what she will support in the bill. |
