| Phoenix — Today, the Primary Sinema Project released a new digital ad hitting Senator Kyrsten Sinema for obstructing President Biden’s agenda and ignoring the people of Arizona who elected her. The video includes recent news coverage highlighting how the Arizona senator has obstructed popular legislation, all while attending fundraisers with corporate interests opposed to the bill, and how she has repeatedly left D.C. in the midst of critical negotiations to attend fundraisers – including jetting to Europe just last week. The new video also includes an interview on CBSN with Primary Sinema Spokesman Luis Avila: “People from all backgrounds in the political spectrum here in Arizona are coming together to say we have to have something better. And if that is going to have to be primarying the first Democrat we are electing in decades, that’s what we’re going to have to do.” MSNBC’s Chris Hayes delivers the kicker to close out the new ad, saying: “If you don’t meet with your constituents and you spend all your time doing everything except talking to them, legislating, all while holding up your party’s agenda, maybe you don’t want to be United States Senator.” |
