More Arizonans Disapprove Than Approve Of Her Job Performance
Morning Consult’s newly released November report shows that Kyrsten Sinema is now the most unpopular senator running for re-election other than indicted Senator Bob Menendez.
45% of voters disapprove of Kyrsten Sinema’s job performance in office, while only 40% approve. These numbers rank her among the least popular Senators in the country – and one of only five Senators with a net-negative approval – in surveys conducted between August and October of this year.
This comports with multiple, bipartisan polls showing Sinema in third place in a three-way race.
A two-page prospectus from Kyrsten Sinema’s team released previously revealed her so-called “potential path for victory,” which includes relying on “10% to 20% of Democrats, 60% to 70% of independents and 25% to 35% of Republicans.”
“When she’s been more focused on saving tax loopholes for Wall Street than in delivering for Arizonans, it’s no wonder that voters have soured on Sinema,” said Sacha Haworth, spokesperson for Replace Sinema. “Sinema has stood in the way of widely popular and important priorities for Arizonans, including saving abortion rights, extending the child tax credit, and raising the minimum wage. Meanwhile, she has raised millions from corporate PACs and then used the money to go on international trips and eat at fancy restaurants. That’s why she’s so unpopular and one way or another, Arizonans are going to send her packing.”
